A Nutritional Note:
Nutrition is vital when doing any sort of strength training. It is almost as important to making gains as the actual lifting and cardio training. It would be a good idea to carry some sort of sustenance to get into your system right after school, just before the workout begins. I suggest a piece of fruit--an apple, orange, or banana--or a granola/protein bar. Perhaps a half turkey sandwich. (Do not gorge yourself! A full or bloated belly will be counterproductive).  Your body will need the fuel...we will be burning calories as well as building muscle. Also, it would be a good idea to get some more recovery-type sustenance in your system directly after the workout--a protein shake, a can of tuna, or that other half of that turkey sandwich.  Your muscles will be craving the protein from these items (as well as water and/or Gatorade) in order to recover and grow properly. Thus it is important to give your muscles this needed boost of protein within an hour of your workout.

Required Participation Forms
All Student-Athletes (and their parents) must complete the following forms before they can participate on the first day of practice.
