with a 4-1 win over visiting Westerville South.
Clinching the win was the inspired play of Haley
Green and Audrey Mungovan, with a 6-2, 6-4 win
at second doubles. Their win gave Delaware the
win for the match and gave Delaware an 8-7 record
in dual matches this season. Singles: Bri Sturm

Welcomes Coach Morrison Back From Retirement
Dan
Morrison, long-time Tennis Coach at Hayes High School, is
returning to coach the JV Team on Friday, September 1 for
the rest of the season. State retirement policy for Ohio teachers
require they take two months away from any public school employment
once they officially retire. We're glad to have coach Morrison
back, and want to thank Coaches Scott Jarrett and Charlie
Thompson for filling in during Coach Morrison's absence.

winning for Hayes were Katie Hoovler at second singles, with
a 6-4, 6-3 win over Aesha Brown, and Bridget Fahey and Angela
Kolosky at second doubles by a 7-6, 6-7, 6-3 score over Brittany
Lambert and Teresa LaRue. JV winners included Bri Sturm, Chelsea
