Delaware Hayes Athletic Boosters Meeting Minutes

March 20, 2006

7:30 pm Hayes High School commons

Mike Stimmel called the meeting to order at 7:30pm.

Greg Kimbro and Roger Sponseller passed out checks to teams who participated in bingo and assisted with the concession clean up. The following was distributed:

Greg passed out the bingo packets and opened the floor for discussion about the bingo notes and schedule. Greg reiterated that we need to have 10 people on the floor in addition to the core team and concession help

Rita Treese is concession on Team B. There is an opening for concessions on Team A.

Team E is missing a caller and an instant manager. Kay Cotter volunteered for instant manager for Team E.

Cross Country rep stated a concern about finding people to work the week between Christmas and New Years. Football and mentioned that they would look at their schedule to see if they can help Cross Country with that date.

August 26 is the car give away, we need 3 full teams core + basketball and football cheerleading volunteered. Boys volleyball is scheduled to work.

In December we will give away $10,000 - exact date to be announced. We are going to start advertising. We are going to need 6 teams to work. We will to do it at Dempsey. All teams will need to work that evening and their cousins. Because we run the car off of the tallies from the first month of March to the first week of December. We discussed about capping the attendance on the $10,000 give away - we need to advertise the fact that we are capping it if we decide to do it. We need to further discuss this topic. We are leaning toward using only the tallies from that night not from previous games.

Vegas night is this Saturday, March . Our attendance at Bingo continues to grow, we have patrons from Circleville and Marysville.

Doug Jurden brought up the topic of scoreboard

Mike Stimmel brought the motion to the floor to pay Greg Kimbro to be bingo master. Colleen Dalga made to approve paying Greg a salary. The motion was seconded by Craig Conroy. A vote was taken there will be a signing bonus given and pay will be $200.00 / week subject to Greg Kimbro
